The study concerned the lives of Finnish-born Canadian residents. The study was conducted through interviews as well as survey questionnaires. The interviewees were found through the Finnish church in Vancouver. The purpose of the study was to gather the experiences of people who had been born in Finland but later moved to Canada. They were asked about their experiences with living in two countries, their ties to Finland, their families and children, and their own experiences. 17 people took part in the study.
