Abstract

The data comprise ten interviews of voluntary workers conducted in 2014. The interviewees did voluntary work in divorce support in family meeting services of the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare in Tampere. In family meetings, parents living apart can spend time with their children in a homelike environment with a trained volunteer present.

Main themes of the interviews included the volunteer's own experiences of the activity and its significance, volunteer work in practice and the volunteer's role, and organisation and coordination of the activities.

The dataset is available only in Finnish.
