Data Catalogue

FSD's data catalogue is divided into two main parts: archived data and documented data, depending on whether the data have been archived at FSD or not. Archived data can be ordered from FSD. Documented data are stored elsewhere and cannot be ordered from FSD.

Archived Data

Archived data are distributed for scientific research and teaching. FSD's services are free of charge. Quantitative data are available in English, and if not yet translated, will be translated on request. Qualitative data are generally not available in English.

Documented Data

Documented data cannot be ordered from FSD. Documentation includes information on access place. Some are available on the Internet, some can be accessed from the original place of deposit. Qualitative data are generally not available in English.

FSD's metadata records are also available online as machine readable DDI 2.0 XML files (compatible with DDI 2.1). » More information
