AGREEMENT ON THE DEPOSITION OF DATA TO THE FINNISH SOCIAL SCIENCE DATA ARCHIVE

Conditions of archiving and re-use:
With this agreement and accompanying Dataset Description form, I/we submit the 
above mentioned dataset with its supplementary documents to be archived at the 
Finnish Social Science Data Archive (FSD).  I/we allow that my/our contact 
information is entered into the archive's client register and published in the 
FSD database.

Unless otherwise stated in this agreement, the depositor or the depositing body 
will retain the ownership and copyright to the dataset and related material. 

FSD may revise and validitate the deposited dataset, and distribute it 
for research or teaching purposes under the conditions agreed upon below.

FSD takes responsibility for storing and modifying the dataset in accordance 
with data protection and security norms. The archive ensures that the data 
will be distributed for re-use only to persons who have signed appropriate 
access agreements, and that the conditions set out in this agreement are 
complied with in archiving and re-use.


Conditions stipulated by the depositor:

I  Distribution of the dataset for re-use:  access rights
   (Please tick your preferred option. Options 1 and 2 allow for a speedier  
    delivery, and are therefore preferrable. Option 3 is meant mainly for 
    datasets deposited by voluntary organisations or private companies.)

 1. FSD may distribute the dataset for research and teaching purposes without 
    asking permission from the depositor.
 
 2. FSD may distribute the dataset for research purposes without asking permission 
    from the depositor.

 3. FSD cannot deliver the dataset for re-use without the permission of the depositor.


II Distribution of the dataset for re-use: notification of use

 1. The archive's web site or publications contain information on publications based on the re-use of the dataset. The depositor does not require any further notification.
