FSD holdings contain a number of data series and individual datasets suitable for research on working life.

There are also many datasets that contain individual questions and variables which are potentially useful to researchers of the subject. The data archived at the FSD can be downloaded free of charge from Aila Data Service, according to the conditions set for each dataset.

Please note that below is listed only a sample of all data available at the Data Archive and we encourage you to use keyword search more datasets on the subject on Aila. In addition, datasets suitable for research on the theme may be found from other European data archives by using CESSDA Data Catalogue (Opens in new tab).

Questions and variables of quantitative datasets that have been fielded in English or translated at the FSD can be explored by browsing through Aila variable search. If a quantitative dataset has not yet been translated, you can request a translation free of charge. Qualitative data are only available in their original language. FSD3686 Public Employment and Business Services in Finland: Survey for Job Seekers 2021
The survey charted Finnish job seekers' views on public employment and business services in three regions of Finland.

FSD3553 Finnish University Graduates of Year 2015: Career and Employment Survey 2020
The survey charted the career and employment situation of individuals who had graduated from Finnish universities with a lower (BA/BSc or equivalent) or higher (MA/MSc or equivalent) degree in 2015. Main themes of the survey included the respondents' satisfaction with their degree, career path stages, current employment situation, the quality of employment, and the importance of university education for employment.

FSD3388 EVA Survey on Finnish Values and Attitudes Autumn 2019
The study charted Finnish people's values and attitudes. The themes of the Autumn 2019 survey included employment, working life, the job market, labour conditions and entrepreneurship.

FSD3348 Finnish Views on the Future of Work in Digital Economy 2017
The survey charted Finnish people's views on the development of the labour market in the near future as well as on political measures that would be important for the future of Finnish work.
