Blog entry: FSD’s multilingual and qualitative data expertise brings in international visitors

A Japanese national project is in the process of developing a joint data catalogue for the social sciences, which is why representatives of Japanese service providers participating in the project visited FSD at the end of March for the seminar entitled Metadata, Data Catalogues and Tools for Findability. In addition to FSD personnel, representatives from CESSDA and SND were also present to discuss data description standards, multilingual services, and building data catalogues. Helena Laaksonen, Director at FSD, summarises the seminar in the most recent FSD blog entry.

The FSD blog discusses recent developments in social science research and data policy as well as FSD services and projects.
