The object of the survey was to canvass the interest of youth aged 18-30 years in politics and the presidential elections, their opinions on the election campaign, voting, political parties and the person and tasks of the president. The material of the study is an issue of Helsingin Sanomat published on October 20, 1987. The main themes in this data are: 1) Who, what and what kind of actors are those featuring in a newspaper. 2) What do actors do? 3) The context of the action of actors are the news stories of the newspaper and games featuring in them.
